The "2011Charity Rally" is an "event" for car enthusiasts, friends and families alike. It aims to give you a demanding but fun Sunday with your family and friends navigating along country roads and using your observational skills to spot all the answers to the provided clues whilst raising vitally important funds for local charities.
A "team" consists of as many people as you can get in the car, and it is strongly advised that as least two people are competent and insured to drive the vehicle during the event.
The event will begin at 10:00 hrs on the Sunday morning.
On the start line teams will be provided with a set of pre-plotted maps, a list of questions to answer en-route and then set off at two minute intervals. There will be several stages throughout the day and at the beginning of each stage a new set of maps and questions will be provided.
En-route there will be challenging activities to get you out of the car, and there will be time for a spot of lunch and a drink.
By around 17:00 hrs you should arrive back in Norwich for the awards ceremony and a meal.
It is intended to be a challenge as you will be concentrating none stop throughout the day.
Teams are asked to commit to raising a minimum sponsorship of £50 and all money raised will be split between Nelsons Journey and Leeway.
Competitors are responsible for their own fuel, breakfast and lunch. The meal at the presentation dinner after the event is included in the entry fee.
During the event you will be stopping at very special place which is included in the entry fee and is designed to get you out of the car for a couple of hours.
The cost is as follows
£24 per Adult
£20 per child
£22 per senior citizen
